About this artwork
This painting is a reflection of two buildings off of a four building structure called International Square. One of those buildings has a glass facade. The building on the left is called Republic Place. The location of all this is at I and 18th Streets. These buildings are very distorted, which is what I like about painting these pieces. It is like looking through a kaleidoscope. The slightest movement gives a whole different look.

« I truly enjoy painting and will let the work speak for itself. »
Steven Fleit is a self-taught photorealist painter who also takes a certain artistic latitude in the creation of his pieces. The American artist explores reflections in architecture, as well as landscapes, cityscapes, and florals in his compositions. Fleit enjoys using a lot of paint and gloss in his works and employs a blending technique which gives each piece a rich and vibrant feeling.
