About this artwork
Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic painting The Last Supper, Lamb reimagines the scene in his provocative work Trump’s Last Supper, placing Donald Trump alongside a circle of his close associates. The composition invites viewers to draw their own conclusions, offering a layered commentary that can be interpreted in multiple ways depending on one’s perspective. This openness is central to the piece: while Lamb’s personal viewpoint may subtly inform…
the work, it is never imposed. Instead, the painting encourages reflection, dialogue, and even discomfort, leaving meaning ultimately in the hands of the spectator.

« My perception of the world is always from a comical point of view. I have reached the conclusion for myself, that what matters the most, is the human ability to laugh. »
