Stone Chun Shi is a painter, former MTV VJ and Chinese TV personality from Nanjing, China. Stone's painting method, which he calls Stone Oil Cube, uses a special mixing technique to create textured oil colors. The oils are manipulated into different hues and are applied to the canvas in a series of colorful cubes, all precisely in the same size, same brushstroke, and thickness. Stone's artwork portrays iconic images using tens of thousands of oil cubes, his signature language, to express his thoughts about fine art.
