About this artwork
My practice involves the dialogue between order and chaos. The process is a constant experiment with the physical properties of the materials I am working with. Moving between addition and subtraction, making and unmaking. It's a call-and-response conversation like an improvisational jazz set. The art is made up of (mistakes or happy accidents) during the process, but these ‘mistakes’ are advantageous because they may lead little by little to small…
truths. My work is inspired by the natural and fabricated phenomena I observe in the world around me.
