Sudip Das' art communicates relationships: the relationship between him and his soul; between ourselves and our surroundings; as well as with the living and the dead. The Indian painter expresses these concepts through mythological, historical, and current events - where the past, present and future meet, and are inspired by one another. Das creates using egg tempera, watercolor washes, and natural items such as tea, coffee, henna, flower, and earth pigments.
