South Korean painter Sung-Ok Park has exhibited work throughout South Korea and China. Park describes her process as a form of zen mediation- she works every day, filling paper with hundreds of thin lines and eventually reaching a state of mindfulness. Park's works consist of girls sleeping, eating, and feeling. These girls are like her alter egos. Rendered in intricate black and white with occasional colorful accents, Park's drawings are an intimate look into these girls' mischievous, genuine, and lively world.
