About this artwork
Hydrogen is a colourless, odourless and intangible substance. Hydrogen is not only an important element by itself, but also exists in abundance as a necessary ingredient around us in combination with other elements.
However, at first it seems to disappear or melt into the air or water. I tried to express the properties of hydrogen through painting. If hydrogen has a colour, how it will be seen depending on the temperature and environment is expressed… through various colours and flowing and smearing oil.
