About this artwork
Long Beach was inspired by the challenge of the shape of the wood panel. Using acrylic and inks I was able to create a very linear composition while maintaining the integrity of the ocean waves. The addition of a resin coating helps to not only bring out the colors, it magnifies the fluidity of the ocean as well.
