About this artwork
Having been born in Miami, Florida (USA), I have always been drawn to the ocean. The sounds, smells, and touch invoke a calm and peaceful feeling and can be a remedy for many of life's stressors.
Nightfall was inspired by the moment the sunlight dips fully beneath the ocean yet there is just enough light reflecting on the water to see the waves crashing. I find this to be a very soothing and reflective time.
