About this artwork
The painting was inspired by a trip to The NSW coast with a view from across a small bay. Soft light falls on the gum trees in the foreground. Peeking through the trees the viewer is let to a small coastal town across a bay with boasts standing stationary in the water. If you look closely two kookaburras sit in one of the gum trees the light falling on their breast.
