About this artwork
This piece is an abstract interpretation of air, water, light, shadow, and architecture. The imagery is developed from the artist's experience during a residency on Governor's Island in New York City. "Celestial" is created using watercolor, ink, and pigment on Somerset paper with a few addition of collaged paper integrated into the painting.
