About this artwork
I created this piece today during a deep meditative session, painting with my Apple Pencil on iPad as I've done for years. Four luminous spheres emerged on the screen—each one representing a different state of consciousness meeting in infinite space.
The upper sphere exploded with vibrant energy—magenta, yellow, coral—trailing stardust like a memory. I watched as the middle sphere formed with contemplative blues and turquoise, its curved bands suggesting… quiet introspection. The lower sphere appeared last, pulsing with electric blue and violet where opposites unite.
I've been exploring light as consciousness for 37 years, but working digitally allows me to capture something that happens in meditation—that moment when separate awarenesses recognize each other across emptiness.
