What is tiny and initially invisible unfolds here for the patient observer:
Where are we? Perhaps in a hidden, marshy landscape in springtime—and we are invited to look closer, as if through a powerful magnifying glass, to see a microcosm. There, on the left, the straight, yellow, merely suggested form catches the eye, revealed by the brushstrokes. A guardian? Of what? It stands at the edge of a circle where tiny, rapid movements are taking place,… and where things are swirling around a hidden center... Excitement is palpable!
Delicate colors, light green, light yellow tell of beginnings and magic.
On the right side of the picture (so it doesn't get too kitschy?) - surprisingly, in a different scale, a face drawn with just a few strokes, as if from a British comedy...the clown who is allowed to disturb the sacred?
