About this artwork
Some evenings I watched the series "Ragnarök" and encountered figures from the worlds of giants and gods. Two more energetic portraits emerged from this experience:
Saxa and Thor.
Saxa, a young giantess: her radiance and seductive energy, and also her vulnerability and destructive rage are expressed in the picture.
What will it be like when all our emotional worlds are visible, like in my works?
In this work I worked with oil pastel on paper… and created a figurative representation that captures the flowing dynamics and liveliness of the forms. The central red lines, strong and energetic, break through the otherwise soft, shimmering white gold tones.
It is a representation of inner strength and passion pulsating in a seemingly silent environment. This artwork brings the atmosphere of energy and inspiration to any room.
