About this artwork
A lot of wind accompanies me on this walk through Unewatt, where the windmill is on the left. The path goes through a museum village which is located in the northernmost part of Germany. The colors of the foliage are autumnal. Paths are a favorite subject of the painter. The work is painted in egg tempera on canvas.

« I well remember the moment when the landscape in front of me dissolved into many patches of color and I luckily tried to capture this phenomenon with brush and paint. »
