About this artwork
This is a still life painting of a Dinky toy Vanwall (model no.239 1958-1960). This car comes from the Brighton Toy Museum collection where Susannah was given permission to take it out of the viewing cabinet and study it in the round under different lights until she found the right angle from which to paint it from.
