About this artwork
Struck by the image of a flooding torrent which completely destroyed this bridge in Gilgit in May 22, I knew it needed to be put on record as part of my 'Un natural' history series.
This piece captures the raw power of nature against the structure created with astonishing human engineering, now warped and distorted.
Using acrylics, I brought the turbulent waters and dramatic sky to life with realistic detail, evoking tension in a broken landscape.…
