About this artwork
The (modern realistic) heart is central and I really wanted to make it stand out. There is a maze around it, after which you eventually end up in the heart with the gold. I have applied various structures to show the complexity of our being. On the pink bar I have written "Your heart knows the way, run in that direction! It contains hidden words such as love, fuck , let's play together and heartbeat (in black with white) and in the maze it says love…
and fuck it, I always say the latter when I have to get out of my comfort zone for something, because I'm very insecure of myself. I painted a heart rhythm in pink on the right and left. Furthermore, many hearts and lots of color!! The balance was very difficult, hopefully someone will fall in love with his/her heart!

Suzanne Domenech, inheriting artistic zeal from her fresco-painting father, explores acrylics and mixed media with a flair for the imaginative. Her technique—an alchemy of spontaneity and emotional symbology, veils narratives within her canvases. Her art pulsates with a raw, unfettered expression of both personal and commissioned emotional landscapes.
