About this artwork
In my work, wood and metal interweave to create an expression of strength and durability. The texture and patina tell stories of life and time. It invites viewers to explore the duality of nature and human creation. Through this sculpture I want to bring a feeling of warmth and character into the space, a symbol of connection with our roots and industrial evolution.

« I am an artist who works innovatively and unconventionally with familiar natural materials. Rough and delicate, nature is the teacher! Sensual art that touches. »
Sven Schilling is a German sculptor whose works explore the connection between man and nature, the integration of man into the cosmos as it is formulated in anthroposophy. His compositions are exclusively created using oak, iron, and leather because he is fascinated by their feel. Also, Schilling prefers these materials as they have significance in the history of craftsmanship as well as in religions and myths.
