For so many years, as an artist and person, I have been immersed in investigating an essential and very personal theme for me: the versatility of female nature.

The theme of "women in armor" arose in my work several years ago and became one of the dominant ones. In this image, I managed, I hope, to convey the amazing interaction of several seemingly opposite qualities of a woman's personality: her fragility, vulnerability, and sensual vulnerability… are amazingly complemented in the most difficult situations by incredible strength, courage, and stunning power.
