Contrast of the complementary (deliberately red and green), a large upward movement characterize Brulure.
To accompany it, this text by Michel TORRENTE (Director of the Galerie Condillac, BORDEAUX)
"Passionate about rhythm and color Sylvie GEDDA is an authentic painter. She leads a real pictorial struggle, her best assets: bright and luminous colors placed generously on the canvas.
Broadness of the gesture, strength of expression ... Sylvie GEDDA… leads us in an intense visual joy because the result is as beautiful as a stained glass window in glass slabs crossed by the sun.
By this controlled dynamic, by the balance of its lines of force and by the intensity of its pigments Sylvie GEDDA artist teaches us to look colors in the face. "

« My painting is sometimes spatial, sometimes telluric, sometimes aquatic, sometimes cellular, always organic. My wish is to arouse in the viewer a desire to wander the innumerable paths of the imagination. »
Sylvie Gedda is a dedicated artist whose works have featured in exhibitions, prizes and publications across France. Influenced by nature - particularly the cosmic, microcosmic, human and aquatic fields, and primarily inspired by life, she creates striking abstract works marked by ordered composition, hidden figures and intriguing colour combinations. She seeks to take viewers on an adventure - visual, emotional, and mostly renewing.
