"Symbol of the place of metamorphosis, to be compared with the secret chamber of initiations, the matrix of transformations, tunnels, etc. Even more than a protective envelope, it represents an eminently transitory state between two stages of becoming, the duration of 'a maturation.… It implies the renunciation of a certain past and the acceptance of a new state, condition of fulfillment. Fragile and mysterious, like a youth rich in promises, but from which we do not know exactly what will come out of it, the chrysalis inspires respect, care and protection. It is the unforeseeable future that is forming, a symbol of emergence in biology. "

« My painting is sometimes spatial, sometimes telluric, sometimes aquatic, sometimes cellular, always organic. My wish is to arouse in the viewer a desire to wander the innumerable paths of the imagination. »
