About this artwork
Mandrake was worked out right after that period of confinement we all faced.
The artist wishes her homage to life, a return to sources, song of the cosmos and bearer of hope.
Its peculiarity is its double reading, in fact "Mandragore" can be installed both vertically and horizontally, which in no way affects its readability.
According to legend the mandrake was born from the fusion of man with the earth. From this copulation was born a magical… flower, half comet, half floral, it seems to soar towards the heavens. His fragile presence is there to remind us of our human precariousness in the face of the splendor of the cosmos.
Technique: colored inks and purple manganese pigment worked in epoxy resin cast on wood. Resin thickness worked 6 mm
