About this artwork
Ritual is one of the rare works of the artist worked in black and white, some golden highlights come to soften the contrasts. The painting is cellular, spatial, anthropomorphic and very feminine. Sylvie Gedda introduces inks with water, alcohol, pigments in epoxy resin that flows on its support (canvas or wood).

Sylvie Gedda is a dedicated artist whose works have featured in exhibitions, prizes and publications across France. Influenced by nature - particularly the cosmic, microcosmic, human and aquatic fields, and primarily inspired by life, she creates striking abstract works marked by ordered composition, hidden figures and intriguing colour combinations. She seeks to take viewers on an adventure - visual, emotional, and mostly renewing.
