About this artwork
For this sculpture I was inspired by organic aesthetics. The rounded shapes can also be found in nature and show their versatility. Carved from a trunk, pierced, flamed and hand-sanded.
The shape is reminiscent of a bean and symbolizes growth and fertility. The organic design and grain of the wood make every viewing a unique experience.
