About this artwork
It’s hard to avoid a fascination with fossils and bones when you spend your life around stone. I collect skulls and often draw inspiration from bones when carving. OSTEON’s inspiration was drawn from within the bone - the curving, porous, seemingly random array of pockets that form these vital structures.
