About this artwork
This original painting of a horse was created at the beginning of the New Year, inspired by the Japanese zodiac sign Uma (Horse).
In Japanese culture, the horse symbolizes forward movement, vitality, and the strength to overcome obstacles.
Rather than depicting speed or power alone, I focused on expressing a gentle strength to move forward — a quiet, steady energy that supports us as we step into a new cycle.
The brushwork is intentional yet restrained,… allowing space and stillness to coexist with motion.
I hope this piece offers a sense of calm determination, serving as a companion for moments of transition, reflection, and renewal.
This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, hand-painted and signed by the artist.
It was created as a symbolic piece for the New Year, carrying wishes for resilience, harmony, and positive momentum.
