About this artwork
This is a long and narrow painting shaped as a semi-trapeze. The blond wood frame was created from scratch by amazing Karl Emanuel, who runs his business independently in Chicago. This painting was created at a request of architect and curator Stephen Wierzbowski for "Ornament Is" exhibition opening in September 2023 in the main gallery of Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago, USA.

This piece reflects the worldview which is as following: the linearity of space and time is a convenient illusion. This assumed linearity is an easy way for humans to understand each other quickly and to avoid multiple meanings of each environment, event, and situation. However, the universe is more complex and stranger.
