About this artwork
In my abstract painting Zenpolychromo 9, I play with a variety of forms and colors that are arranged in an exciting way. The painting is a visual exploration of verticals and curved lines that interact with each other in different layers of color.
In the foreground, several semicircular shapes stand out, layered on top of each other in different colors and transparencies:
A soft white that appears almost translucent and forms a calm base.
An intense,… vibrant pink that stands out strongly from the background and brings energy to the image.
A deep brownish-black that creates a strong contrast through its impenetrable darkness.
A bright, neon green band that adds freshness and vibrancy to the image.
Another, softer white that restores balance.

My work moves between intuitive process and conceptual clarity. Through my ongoing series Zenpolychromos, I explore color as space, energy and experience. Using transparent layers, gesture and rhythm, I create paintings that invite contemplation. For me, color is not decorative but a living presence that opens a space between movement and stillness. Each work develops through a process of layering, reduction and intuitive decisions, creating compositions that balance emotional depth with visual clarity. Alongside Zenpolychromos, my collage series Fragmented Being explores identity, memory and transformation through reassembled visual fragments. My work invites viewers to experience color not simply as something to see, but as a space to enter. COLOR BECOMES SPACE.
