About this artwork
This captivating work is illuminated by a vivid and contrasting palette. At the center, a female figure, in dreamlike colors, cultivates enigma. She holds a basin containing clean laundry. The walls and floor are painted in shades of pink, orange, and green, creating an atmosphere that is both warm and unsettling. The perspective tightens the space, reinforcing the feeling of intimacy. Subtle lighting emphasizes contours and adds depth. The interplay…
of colors creates a fascinating visual tension. The ensemble explores solitude and inner contemplation in a familiar yet strangely futuristic setting. Through the mastery of color and form, the scene imposes a striking presence, transforming the everyday into a singular visual experience.

Born in the heart of Siberia, I grew up surrounded by vast plains and harsh winters until the age of 26. However, it was the discovery of the Altai mountains and the steppes of Mongolia that marked a decisive turning point in my journey: a preserved natural world, animist traditions, and an almost cosmic silence.
Wishing to combine creativity with pragmatism, I initially pursued a path in architecture. After graduating from the Academy of Architecture and Fine Arts in Novosibirsk, I continued my studies in France, obtaining a Master's equivalency from the Strasbourg School of Architecture in 2014. This dual expertise allowed me to develop a rigorous approach to spatial construction, precise drawing, and mastery of volume.
From 2015 onwards, painting became my primary mode of expression. I set aside the architect’s ruler to explore, through increasingly large formats, an artistic quest rooted in gesture, vitality, and the tension of materials.
