About this artwork
Pulse and Moss is my new diptych in the style of abstract expressionism. I worked with acrylic on canvas, creating a dialogue between the two parts: energetic, pulsating strokes merge with soft green tones reminiscent of nature. For me, this artwork is about movement and inner rhythm, about the balance between energy and calmness. I wanted to capture the feeling of nature’s living breath and the harmony of color. The diptych is painted on stretched… canvas and ready to hang. This piece can become a striking focal point in a contemporary interior, bringing depth and individuality to the space.
My name is Tanya Lytko, a contemporary artist based in Aix-les-Bains, France. Since 2013, I have been working in abstraction and abstract expressionism, using painting as a language to express what cannot be said in words. For me, the canvas is a space of dialogue where intuition, movement, and emotion unfold. I often begin without a fixed outcome, allowing each work to reveal itself over time. My visual language is built through expressive brushstrokes, spontaneous marks, and contrasts between softness and boldness, control and release. Living close to mountains and water deeply influences my work. I translate their presence into abstract forms, capturing light, space, and atmosphere. My work is held in private collections across Europe and internationally, and I am currently preparing for an exhibition at Art3f Lyon. Each painting is an invitation not just to look, but to feel.
