This work is part of my ongoing exploration of inner landscapes and mountain-inspired forms — not literal mountains, but their structure, tension and quiet strength.
In this piece, I worked with transparency and layering. The marks float between surfaces, like thoughts suspended in space. There is something raw and grounded in the brown textures, and something light and free in the brighter gestures above — almost like growth emerging from stone.…
For me, this painting is about what exists beneath the visible surface. About depth. About hidden strength. About the quiet architecture that holds everything together.
The artwork is created on acrylic glass, which makes it lightweight and gives it a unique sense of depth and clarity.
Both the background color and the frame color can be customized to suit your interior — the composition adapts beautifully to different tones and spaces.
It is a contemporary statement piece that shifts subtly depending on light and surroundings.
My name is Tanya Lytko, a contemporary artist based in Aix-les-Bains, France. Since 2013, I have been working in abstraction and abstract expressionism, using painting as a language to express what cannot be said in words. For me, the canvas is a space of dialogue where intuition, movement, and emotion unfold. I often begin without a fixed outcome, allowing each work to reveal itself over time. My visual language is built through expressive brushstrokes, spontaneous marks, and contrasts between softness and boldness, control and release. Living close to mountains and water deeply influences my work. I translate their presence into abstract forms, capturing light, space, and atmosphere. My work is held in private collections across Europe and internationally, and I am currently preparing for an exhibition at Art3f Lyon. Each painting is an invitation not just to look, but to feel.
