“DAHRA” (2024) is an exploration of form, texture and the interplay between light and shadow through mixed media. The fragmented portrait emerges from layers of paint, scratches and gold accents, reflecting a duality: strength and fragility, presence and absence.
Inspired by the passage of time and the marks it leaves on both surfaces and souls, DAHRA celebrates the beauty of imperfection. Earthy tones and a textured surface evoke a sense of timelessness,… while gold suggests resilience and transformation.
