“NOCTURNE” (2024) captures the essence of introspection and silence veiled by shadows. A face emerges from a layered play of bold black brush strokes and soft, textured whites, evoking the stillness of the night and the weight of unspoken thoughts.
The contrast between darkness and light reflects an emotional landscape where presence meets absence. The figure appears both strong and fragile, as if dissolving into the surrounding void, yet retains… an unmistakable presence. The paint drips and rough strokes suggest a moment of transition—an invitation to look beyond the visible.
Inspired by the silent power of the night and its ability to contain both mystery and clarity, NOCTURNE explores themes of impermanence, identity and transformation.
