About this artwork
Candy
This work is a reflection on life before the war. Like the negative of an old photograph, it carries traces of the past — but through the darkness, colors begin to emerge, like glimpses of hope that the future can be beautiful once again.
It is a painting about a lost world — and the belief that it can be created anew.
