About this artwork
“Back to Ease” is an abstract acrylic painting that explores the tension between lightness and hardness, freedom and limitation.
At the center is a delicate feather in dark and light shades of blue—a symbol of the fleeting, the impulsive, but also the unpredictable and the shy of responsibility. However, this feather is not in free fall, but rather embedded in a wall.
The light beige, blue, and gold plastered wall appears solid and immobile.… It represents structure, stability, and boundaries—but also what holds and shapes lightness.
This image speaks of a return to calm, not through dissolution, but through acceptance of the frame. It invites us to reflect on the balance between inner freedom and external order.
I am a self-taught artist from Germany with an inner drive to express and create through painting. My artistic journey began in 2018 when I discovered different painting techniques and experimented with different media. Over time, my work became an intimate practice—painting and other art forms serve as a personal meditation that helps me connect deeply with my inner world.
Through my art, I process my emotions, thoughts, and life experiences. Each work is a self-discovery, a way to process and understand the complexity of my feelings and experiences. I work primarily with oil, acrylic, and mixed media, utilizing the rich textures and depth these materials offer. Each brushstroke is an invitation to reveal the stories within and create a visual language that speaks to the essence of being.
