About this artwork
In creating this painting, I was inspired by the intimate relationship between a reader and the world of books. The rich, vibrant colors and the textured strokes of oil paint capture not just the physical scene of a woman engrossed in her reading, but also the emotional and intellectual journey she undergoes. This piece is an ode to the transformative power of literature, symbolizing how books can light up our minds and spirits. Envision it bringing… a touch of intellectual serenity and colorful intrigue to any space.
Tatiana Harizanova is an exciting Bulgarian painter who has exhibited her work nationally. She previously worked as a jeweller until 2007, when she decided to dedicate herself entirely to painting. Today, Harizanova composes curious representations of a range of subjects including people, houses, cities and landscapes. Alongside these representational works, she also creates abstract paintings that boast rich colour combinations and evoke a balanced energy.
