ANIMA GRAPHICA – Sloth
Anima Graphica comes from the Latin words for “soul” and “drawing.” It reflects the essence of this series – the meeting of animals and graphic lines, where structure becomes alive.
This work belongs to the series Anima Graphica – a collection created from my quiet love for graphic drawing. Each piece begins with simple pencil lines drawn on my tablet – calm, precise, almost meditative. The animals are figurative and familiar,… taking shape naturally as I follow the rhythm of the pencil.
Then comes the watercolor – the moment where intuition takes over. I let the colors flow softly around the drawing, creating textures and transparencies that make every piece unique.
Painting this series was a process of pure joy and peace – a reminder that simplicity, focus, and patience can be deeply fulfilling.
