About this artwork
"Old Movie" is a mixed-media painting in which I combined collage elements with acrylic paint, texture pastes, and various papers. The composition is reminiscent of a film scene from a bygone era—an elegant woman steps out of darkness into the light. The color palette, with shades of turquoise, violet, and beige, gives the image a nostalgic, slightly melancholic mood. I deliberately used textures and overlays to create the atmosphere of a faded film…
