About this artwork
A new series I started in November 2018 was “Denim Blues”. With indigo and white I wanted to do large sweeps of paint to saturate the canvas creating merging shades of blue and movement. It was more single minded and minimal.

Teodora Guererra is an American artist whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the United States. Describing herself a big risk-taker, she feels that her abstract compositions are a "continuous series of failures" until she works it out compositionally. Guererra creates using fluid movements that are both complex and minimal. She prefers to paint on larger canvases with acrylics.
