About this artwork
I love to explore the fluidity and energy of water with paint. This palette of emerald and teals with white and some purple came together like a crashing wave. I kept coming back to see if I should work it more but stopped. It was done!

Teodora Guererra is an American artist whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the United States. Describing herself a big risk-taker, she feels that her abstract compositions are a "continuous series of failures" until she works it out compositionally. Guererra creates using fluid movements that are both complex and minimal. She prefers to paint on larger canvases with acrylics.
