About this artwork
The Eurasian jay is considered a guardian of the forest, attentive, intelligent, and yet playful. This work depicts it in a moment of quiet presence, surrounded by the lush greens of its natural habitat. The iridescent blue of its wings symbolizes intuition and vigilance, qualities we often lack in everyday life when we are too preoccupied with our thoughts.
With this image, I wanted to make tangible the alert, clear energy of the forest that arises… when one is fully in the moment.

Her large-format works combine realistic and intuitive techniques, accentuated by metallic details, to give expression to animals as symbols of authenticity, power, and instinct.
