About this artwork
In this creation, I've intertwined luminous acrylics with the raw intensity of charcoal and pops of colored pencil, crafting a semi-abstract landscape brimming with emotion. It's an expressionistic dance, evoking a dreamscape where impressions of the natural intertwine with the subconscious. Infusing your space with this piece promises a serene yet spirited energy, an invitation to ponder the depths beneath the tranquil surface.

« As I paint, I think about verbs rather than nouns, creating energy and movement, yet also maintaining a sense of balance within the work. »
Terri Dilling is a prizewinning American painter with national exposure. Inspired by the beauty and complexity of the natural world, she uses color relationships, shapes and lines to convey movement, energy and balance. Dilling's abstract work ultimately recalls the lush flora and fauna of the American South, where she lives and works, along with landscapes and blue seas from her travels.
