About this artwork
“Self-Talk” explores the shifting landscape of our inner dialogue — the thoughts that accompany us, shape us, confuse us, and reveal us to ourselves.
Do we truly control our thoughts, or do they guide us instead?
Sometimes they flow gently, in tune with consciousness; other times they strike like sudden flashes — moments of clarity or shadows we hesitate to acknowledge. Thoughts can be intrusive guests that consume our time, or intimate companions… that comfort and illuminate.
This work reflects the many versions of ourselves living within us: sometimes in harmony, sometimes in conflict, not always ready to agree. The internal conversation can be analytical and full of discovery, yet it can also spiral into obsession and fatigue.
“Self-Talk” asks us to pause and consider: What fills our mind? Which thoughts settle in it day after day? And how many “selves” reside within us as we move through life?

Tetiana Gryshchenko is a Ukrainian conceptual artist working in geometric abstraction with influences of sacred geometry and symbolic minimalism. Her practice is grounded in the belief that everything in the universe is interconnected — through form, memory, and consciousness. She constructs compositions from circles, squares, and archetypal structures, creating symbolic systems that explore identity, harmony, and cultural memory. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Florence Biennale and art fairs.
