« I am a descendant of the great migration of the Bantu peoples and my painting is a cultural appropriation based on symbolism and a geometric ritual that I call: MYSTICISM. »
The Bantu is an award-winning painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in Senegal whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in France, Tunisia, and Nigeria. He defines his art as a fusion of cubism and abstraction imbued with African or Bantu colors. Creating with his fingers and the palm of his hand, rhythm permeates his vibrant and mystic compositions.
