About this artwork
It is a new series on the innocence of childhood that the artist wanted to create.
She applies herself to it with childish rigor and tries to recover this innocence which is so dear to her.
In this new series, you can find different mediums because the imagination of a child is limitless.
Nevertheless this time, Virginia Valere painted a slightly different picture mixing her childhood imagination and her favorite subjects which are the crown… upside down (for her reference to the crown of Jean-Michel Basquiat), the airplane (for its reference to travel) and animals (for children)
It is a painting in very bright colors and with overflowing energy that makes us discover the artist.

« I love primary colours because they are fresh and don’t hide behind shadows. I love their energy. »
Virginia Valère is a French painter, sculptor and photographer based in Miami, who has exhibited her work internationally. Harnessing diverse cultural and artistic influences, including the pop art movement, she composes works that explode with color, shape and life. Her creative process is impulsive and fast-paced, and her resulting pieces reflect this nature: spontaneous, expressive and kaleidoscopic in both form and content.
