About this artwork
The painting deals with the process of having to make a decision. The inner wavering between the sensible option, which is shaped by the head and external pressure, and the longing, which is the other option, guided by feelings and one's own heart.
“Decision” was created at a time in the artist's life when she knew deep down that she had to make a momentous decision. It is intended to help the viewer to reflect on what is really important and which… decision is really the right one from within.
