About this artwork
In this work, I continue my own exploration of Mark Rothko's legacy, letting the colors speak and guide the eye. The large areas follow one another like emotional fields: deep blue opens to green, plummeting into the vibrant intensity of red. A thin white line crosses the composition like a luminous crack, a breath that lights up the surface and suggests a passage, a promise, a spiral of hope.
Painting thus becomes a meditative space, where the… observer is invited not only to look, but to lose himself within the chromatic stratifications, discovering intimate and unexpected resonances.

« What I love about my paintings is that they invite you to stop, to step out of reality for a moment and lose yourself in the colors. I want my painting to take effect slowly, I want the colors to strike the soul of the viewer, to bring light, a sense of freedom and energy into their environments and their lives. »
The vibrant use of color and its ability to touch the soul of the observer are the beating heart of the research that has always animated the work of Thia Path, an Italian-Argentine artist. Her works, deeply inspired by the colors and shades of Mark Rothko, have been welcomed with admiration in exhibitions in Italy, Switzerland, France and the USA. Her canvases, a mix of abstraction and figuration, vibrate with colors that not only speak, but weave an intimate dialogue with the soul of the observer. Thia Path tirelessly explores the boundaries of her artistic techniques, trying to touch the unconscious. Her works are a journey through nature, memories, dreams, experiences and emotions, a visual odyssey that challenges and enchants.
