About this artwork
An explosion of reds, oranges, and magentas spans the two canvases, creating an intense and vibrant field of color. Overlapping surfaces, traces, erasures, and graphic gestures construct a space of constant tension, where color seems to emerge and disappear beneath the layers of paint.
Black introduces a bold counterpoint: dense, deep masses interrupt the flow of color and give rhythm to the composition. White, on the other hand, opens up sudden… spaces of breathing space, while the pastel lines preserve the spontaneity of the gesture.
The two works, conceived together, engage in a dialogue through continuities and differences. Their juxtaposition creates a single visual field, in which color, texture, and gesture become tools for expressing an emotional rather than narrative dimension.
It is a painting that does not ask to be interpreted, but to be experienced.

« What I love about my paintings is that they invite you to stop, to step out of reality for a moment and lose yourself in the colors. I want my painting to take effect slowly, I want the colors to strike the soul of the viewer, to bring light, a sense of freedom and energy into their environments and their lives. »
The vibrant use of color and its ability to touch the soul of the observer are the beating heart of the research that has always animated the work of Thia Path, an Italian-Argentine artist. Her works, deeply inspired by the colors and shades of Mark Rothko, have been welcomed with admiration in exhibitions in Italy, Switzerland, France and the USA. Her canvases, a mix of abstraction and figuration, vibrate with colors that not only speak, but weave an intimate dialogue with the soul of the observer. Thia Path tirelessly explores the boundaries of her artistic techniques, trying to touch the unconscious. Her works are a journey through nature, memories, dreams, experiences and emotions, a visual odyssey that challenges and enchants.
