About this artwork
Since childhood, the artist was fascinated by clouds.
So voluminous and so heavy, yet they float in the air and are sculpted by the wind. They take on moving forms that disappear as quickly as they were born.
In this painting, a filigree horse jumps over the clouds.
This image expresses the painter's conviction that it is often necessary to jump over the obstacles erected in front of us, so that they become as light as clouds and disappear in… the wind.
It is the symbol of letting go which brings serenity and allows problems to be analyzed with greater finesse.
This creation is a mixture of abstract and figurative, it is an original composition, because it reconciles two genres that are too frequently opposed.
The edge of the canvas is painted black, which leaves the possibility of hanging without an additional frame.

France
« Sometimes, when I sleep, I dream a very precise vision of a work to paint. »
Thierry Vobmann is an experienced French painter and sculptor with international exposure. He almost exclusively composes abstract paintings, seeking to express everything we can't physically experience: sound, smell, warmth, feeling... that which is still noticeable even if invisible. Vobmann's finished works display an impressive balance of volume, texture and color.
